Ilona Fischer is a senior marketing, communications and strategic-initiatives leader with more than 25 years of experience across global energy, logistics, telecommunications, digital ventures, real estate and mission-driven organizations. Based in St. Augustine, Florida, she is known for asking better questions, connecting business priorities with audience needs and moving complex ideas from concept to execution.
As Director of Marketing at Trailer Bridge, she led enterprise marketing during a period of significant commercial and organizational growth, partnering with the CEO and executive leadership on customer insight, positioning, digital strategy, sales enablement and internal communications. At APR Energy, she developed global campaigns, executive content, case studies and sales tools for technical, government, utility and commercial audiences across five regions. Earlier, as Director of Marketing at ILD Corp., she supported five business units, executive communications and new ventures including OfficeArrow and Social Strategy1 during a period of rapid company growth.
Her broader experience includes strategic consulting, residential real estate and community service. Recognition includes Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Rookie of the Year and Chairman’s Circle, Jacksonville Business Journal 40 Under 40, Leadership Jacksonville Class of 2010 and Telwares President’s Circle. Community involvement includes St Johns County School District, the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund and youth-focused service in Northeast Florida and Morocco. She speaks English and has basic conversational ability in Arabic and Hungarian.
